Worried That Your Resume Is Too Long? Here Are Two Tips to Help!

Screen Shot 2014-03-30 at 3.33.00 PMWhile the concept of the single page resume is relatively antiquated given that most job search materials are submitted electronically, it is still important to be as clear and concise as possible on your resume.

And if you’re a recent grad, a one-page resume remains the conventional wisdom.

Two tips to make your resume as concise as possible:

1) avoid repeated mentions of any given experience or qualification (there will be room for that in supporting materials and in interviews!)

2) keep every bullet to two lines or fewer.

Here is a before and after screencast that shows you how to act on these two tips.
